Shubra Al Mazalat, Giza, Egypt Rod El Farag Axis project is considered one of the important projects of the national roads network to transport the traffic congestion coming from east of Cairo to Alexandria Desert Road, Matrouh and Al-Amin without passing through the heart of Cairo. It is recorded in Guinness World Record as the World Widest Cable Stayed Bridge; The main feature of the bridge is the glazed footbath located at both sides of the bridge which was re-designed by MEG to overcome the problems associated with bridge original design.
